Abstract:
A remote monitoring support device (120) comprising a temperature detection means, such as a temperature sensor (206), provided in the vicinity of a control panel (110) that controls the operation of an elevator (101); and which sends temperature notification information to a management server computer (130), said information notifying that the peripheral temperature of the control panel (110) has exceeded a prescribed threshold value, if the peripheral temperature of the control panel (110) as detected by the temperature detection means exceeds the threshold value. As a result, control panel malfunctions caused by increases in peripheral temperature can be easily and reliably prevented, and elevator reliability can be increased.
