Abstract:
A remote monitoring support device (120) provided in the vicinity of a control panel (110) that controls the operation of an elevator (101), comprising a status monitoring device and a communications device, and connected to the control panel (110) via a terminal for maintenance inspections (maintenance port) (210) that outputs signals for maintenance diagnosis used by the control panel (110) for maintenance diagnosis of the elevator (101). Once the remote monitoring support device (120) receives a diagnosis instruction sent from a management server computer (130), the remote monitoring support device (120) outputs, to the control panel (110) via the terminal (210), an execution instruction for the diagnosis operation corresponding to the received diagnosis instruction, and sends to the management server computer (130) response information on the basis of a signal output from the control panel (110) in accordance with the output execution instruction for the diagnosis operation.
