Abstract:

The resin-coated metal plate for a container according to the present invention is provided with resin coating layers on both surfaces of a metal plate, wherein: the resin coating layers have, as the main component, a polyester resin having a melting point in the range of 230-254°C; and the resin coating layer located on the outside of the container after a molding process is formed from a resin material in which the arithmetic average roughness (Ra) after being coated onto the metal plate is in the range of 0.10-1.0 μm, the crystallization temperature after being coated onto the metal plate is in the range of 110-160°C, and the water contact angle after being coated onto the metal plate and then heated for 90 seconds at 240°C is in the range of 55-80°.
