Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a relief printing plate precursor for laser engraving, which is highly resistant to both water-based inks and solvent-based inks and has an excellent engraving sensitivity, a method for producing the relief printing plate precursor, and a resin composition for laser engraving which is appropriately usable in the aforesaid printing plate precursor. The resin composition for laser engraving according to the present invention, which comprises component (A) that is a compound having a crosslinkable group and being a plastomer at 20oC and component (B) that is a crosslinking agent, is characterized in that the crosslinkable groups in components (A) and (B) are (meth)acryloyl groups, and component (A) and/or component (B) have an ionic group.
