Abstract:
Disclosed is a retaining device, comprising a case (1); a base (2) that is rotatably attached to the case (1), the base (2) further comprising a positioning unit (20) whereupon an article (K) is positioned, and a fixed clamp unit (24) disposed upon the positioning unit (20); a slider (4), which is slidably attached to the base (2), the slider (4) further comprising a movable clamp unit (41) that clamps the article (K), together with the fixed clamp unit (24); and a biasing member (S1) that biases the slider (4). The base (2) is supported to be inversely switchable between a storage state that closes off the opening of the case (1) with the surface that is on the reverse side of the surface whereupon the fixed clamp unit (24) is disposed, and a usage state that exposes the surface whereupon the fixed clamp unit (24) is disposed from the opening of the case (1); and further comprises a position restriction means (A) for locking the slider (4) in an arbitrary position when the slider (4) slides against the biasing force of the biasing member (S1); and a position angle retaining means (B) for retaining the base (2) at a prescribed position angle upon the case (1), linked with the sliding of the slider (4) against the biasing force of the biasing member (S1).
