Abstract:

[Problem] To realize a reverse-input-blocking clutch that enables smooth switching from a locked state to an unlocked state when rotational torque is inputted to an input member, without reducing the control properties of a rotational drive source. [Solution] The present invention comprises: a to-be-pressed member having a to-be-pressed surface 20; an input member having an input-side engagement part 8 positioned radially inward from the to-be-pressed surface 20; an output member having an output-side engagement part positioned radially inward from the input-side engagement part 8; an engagement element 5 positioned so as to be capable of moving in a first direction, which is the direction away from the to-be-pressed surface 20, the engagement element 5 being formed from an engagement element body 30 and a link member 31 that has a first end part pivotably connected to a pivot support shaft 33 and a second end part pivotably connected to the input-side engagement part 8; and an elastic body 56 positioned between the engagement element body 30 and the link member 31, the elastic body 56 imparting, to the link member 31, elastic force in a direction approaching the to-be-pressed surface 20 relative to the first direction.
