Abstract:
Provided is an RF tag that has a high communication performance and, with respect to a member constituted by a conductor having a void internally, can be mounted in the void. An RF tag 1 of the present invention can be mounted in a void 101 of a conductor-constituted member 100 having said void internally. The RF tag is equipped at least with a free-space antenna 10, a resonance circuit 20, an IC chip 30, a closed-space antenna 40, and a substrate 50 that supports the closed-space antenna. At least a portion of the free-space antenna is exposed from the void to the outside. The substrate supports the closed-space antenna without coming into contact with the inner face of the conductor-constituted member. A capacitor part C2 is formed by the closed-space antenna, the substrate, and the conductor-constituted member. As a result, the closed-space antenna and the conductor-constituted member are electrically connected, such that the conductor-constituted member and the IC chip, which is connected to the closed-space antenna, are electrically connected, and the entire conductor-constituted member can be used as an antenna.
