Abstract:
A road surface state determination system (50) comprises: a distance measurement sensor (10) that is installed at a predetermined position of a vehicle X, projects light to a road surface in a measurement area in the surroundings of the vehicle X, receives reflected light of the projected light, and measures the distance to the road surface on the basis of a light-receiving state of the reflected light; and a determination unit (413) for determining that the road surface is wet when the reflected light has not been received by the distance measurement sensor (10) or when the measurement value by the distance measurement sensor is greater than a predetermined value.
