Abstract:
Disclosed are a robot and a method for controlling a robot. The method for controlling the robot according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: obtaining a captured image of a user; analyzing the image to obtain first information relating to the user's position and the user's eye gaze direction; on the basis of the position and direction in which the image has been captured, obtaining matching information for matching the first information to a map corresponding to an environment in which the robot operates; on the basis of the matching information and the first information, obtaining second information relating to the user's position and eye gaze direction on the map; and inputting the second information in an artificial intelligence model trained to identify an object on the map, so as to identify an object corresponding to the user's eye gaze direction on the map.
