Abstract:
A wire body processing structure (1) for a robot (100) whereby: a first intermediate position for a wire body (150) having a side of a swiveling trunk (120) extending in the front/rear direction of the swiveling trunk is fixed to the swiveling trunk by a first fixing member (2), between a base (110) and base end of an arm (130); a second intermediate position for the wire body extending towards the front of the first fixing member is fixed to a side surface of the arm by a second fixing member (3), further on the tip side of the arm than a second axis (B); and, as a result of providing sufficient length for the arm operation and by twisting in one direction in the movable section of the wire body positioned between the first fixing member and the second fixing member, the robot displaces from a state in which the arm has swung from the rear swing end and the movable section has curved in the direction away from the side surface of the arm, displacing in the direction in which the movable section moves towards the side surface of the arm in conjunction with the arm swinging towards the swing end.
