Abstract:
Provided are a roll grinder abnormal vibration predicting method and a roll grinder abnormal vibration predicting device capable of predicting abnormal vibration of a roll grinder corresponding to a natural frequency of an entire mechanical system including a grinding wheel and a workpiece. This abnormal vibration predicting method for a roll grinder 10 that uses a grinding wheel 14 to grind an outer circumferential surface of a rotating rolling roll 12 includes: an acquisition step for acquiring a rigidity parameter relating to a rigidity of the roll grinder 10, and a grinding wheel rotation parameter relating to a rotational speed of the grinding wheel 14; and a prediction step for using the rigidity parameter and the grinding wheel rotation parameter to predict abnormal vibration of the rolling roll 12 in a grinding process.
