Abstract:
This rolling body includes: a cylindrical section having a predetermined linear axis at the center thereof and an outer diameter that is a first diameter; a first curved surface section having a first curved surface that is provided to one side along the linear axis with respect to the cylindrical section, that has a maximum outer diameter equal to or less than the first diameter, in which the diameter decreases as proximity to the one side increases, and in which said first curved surface has an axisymmetric shape with the linear axis serving as the axis of symmetry and is curved in a protruding shape toward the radially outward side; a second curved surface section having a second curved surface that is provided to the other side along the linear axis with respect to the cylindrical section, that has a maximum outer diameter equal to or less than the first diameter, in which the diameter decreases as proximity to the other side increases, and in which said second curved surface has an axisymmetric shape with the linear axis serving as the axis of symmetry and is curved in a protruding shape toward the radially outward side; and a pair of shaft sections provided to a first end section that is an end of the first curved surface section on the one side and a second end section that is an end of the second curved surface section on the other side, said shaft sections comprising a cylindrical surface with the linear axis at the center thereof.
