Abstract:
This coolant supply mechanism for injecting coolant into a work roll 2 includes: a plurality of injection nozzles 8 that inject coolant and are provided in a row in the plate width direction of a band plate 1; holes 9 for supplying coolant to the respective injection nozzles 8; headers 12 for housing the plurality of injection nozzles 8; tubes 11 selectively blocking or leaving open the holes 9 inside the headers 12; and hydraulic cylinders 18 that move the tubes 11 to adjust the coolant injection amount of each of the plurality of provided injection nozzles 8. Through the foregoing configuration, provided are: a rolling mill comprising a coolant spray that can selectively inject coolant and can be applied to a rolling mill that has little space in which small-diameter work rolls are used; a tandem rolling mill; and a coolant supply mechanism for a rolling mill.
