Abstract:
This rotary extruding machine comprises a rotor having a cylindrical surface with respect to a horizontally-extending rotor axis, and a casing having an inner circumferential surface that defines a bore. The casing defines an inlet port where resin materials including a thermoplastic resin are fed, and an outlet port for discharging plasticized molten resin. The cylindrical surface of the rotor and the inner circumferential surface of the casing are arranged so as to be eccentric from each other, which forms a gap crescent-shaped in cross section between the inner surface and the cylindrical surface so as to extend from the inlet port to the outlet port in the rotation direction of the rotor. The inlet port is disposed at the top of the casing while the outlet port is disposed at the bottom of the casing.
