Abstract:

Provided is a rotary machine with which safety during bursts can be ensured. A rotary machine 1 comprises: an impeller that rotates about an axis line O; a first housing 21 in which a first surface 21A facing toward the diametrically outer side of the axis line O and a second surface 21B facing toward one side along the direction of the axis line O are formed, the first housing 21 covering the impeller from the outer peripheral side; and a second housing 5 including an engaging part in which are formed a third surface 51A that faces toward the diametrically inner side of the axis line and comes into contact with the first surface 21A, and a fourth surface 51B that faces toward the other side along the direction of the axis line, that comes into contact with the second surface 21B, and that is a surface of the same member as the third surface 51A, the second housing 5 being connected to one side of the first housing 21 along the direction of the axis line.
