Abstract:
The present invention controls skewing of the range of coolant adherence with respect to coil ends. This rotating electrical machine is provided with a rotor, a stator, and a case. The case is formed with outflow pores 122A, 122B that cause the coolant to flow out toward a slot-external conductor 139 of a stator coil. In a state where the case 110 is placed so that the rotational center axis Ca is horizontal, the outflow pores 122A, 122B are disposed above the slot-external conductor 139. When a winding direction of the slot-external conductor with respect to a slot-internal conductor located on the outermost-diameter side of the slot interior in the stator coil on the upper part of the stator is a coil winding direction Da, then the first outflow pore 122A is disposed on the winding direction Da side with respect to a perpendicular line VL passing through the rotational center axis Ca, and the second outflow pore 122B is disposed on the side opposite from the winding direction Da with respect to the perpendicular line VL. Compared to the disposition angle θa of the first outflow pore 122A with the vertical line VL being the reference, the disposition angle θb of the second outflow pore 122B is greater.
