Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a rotation restriction mechanism which is for maintenance and makes it possible to efficiently perform the task of inserting/removing screws or the like in a device or the like connected to an axle of a vehicle. [Solution] This rotation restriction mechanism 10 for maintenance can be attached to a disk brake 30 and suppresses the rotation of a disk rotor 31, which rotates together with an axle 9, by pressing the disk rotor 31 with a brake pad 33 of a brake caliper 32, the rotation restriction mechanism 10 being characterized by comprising: a connection part 12 that can be connected to a connection member that is provided further inward in the radial direction than the brake caliper 32; and a restriction part 14 that extends outward in the radial direction from the connection part 12 and restricts the rotation of the disk rotor 31 by abutting the brake caliper 32 when the disk rotor 31 rotates.
