Abstract:
This rotor (120) has a rotor iron core (121) configured from a plurality of iron core pieces (211) divided by slit parts (122) that form flux barriers, non-magnetic structures (123) that are disposed in the slit parts (122) and that connect the iron core pieces (211), and a shaft (124) that is fitted into the rotor iron core (121). The rotor iron core (121) comprises protruding shape parts (125) that protrude into the slit parts (122). The protruding shape parts (125) comprise axial parts that protrude from the circumferential walls of the slit parts (122), and engaging parts that project from the distal end of the axial parts. Acute angles are formed by the center lines of the axial parts and the side surfaces of the engaging parts on the circumferential-wall side at which the axial parts protrude.
