A route display device (100) is provided with a display section (101) for displaying a route to a destination point. A searching section (102) searches another route from a current point of the mobile body to the destination point, in the case where moving of the mobile body along the route being displayed happens to be difficult. An acquiring section (103) acquires traffic information. A notifying section (104) notifies the fact that other route has been searched. An instructing section (105) receives an instruction of whether to display other route on the display section (101) or not from a user, as a result of being notified by the notifying section (104) of the fact that other route has been searched. A control section (106) permits the display section (101) to display other route when the instruction of displaying other route on the display section (101) is received by the instructing section (105).
