Abstract:
Provided are: a rubber composition able to obtain a rubber elastic body having superior rebound resilience and low rolling resistance; a method for producing the rubber composition; and a tire having superior rebound resilience and low rolling resistance. The rubber composition is obtained by mixing/kneading: silica; a metal-containing acylate compound; and a conjugated diene-based polymer having a functional group that can bond with silica. In the present invention, preferably, a polymer that does not have a functional group that can bond with silica is, as a rubber component aside from the conjugated diene-based polymer, mixed/kneaded together with silica, the metal-containing acylate compound, and the conjugated diene-based polymer having a functional group that can bond with silica.
