Abstract:
Provided are: a rubber composition for a tire, the composition being capable of producing a vulcanized rubber having excellent abrasion resistance and rupture strength as well as great workability; and a tread and a tire having excellent abrasion resistance and rupture strength. The rubber composition for tires comprises a rubber component and carbon black. The carbon black is such that: the compressed oil absorption amount is 105 mL/100 g to 122 mL/100g; the specific surface area of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide is greater than 130 m2/g but not greater than 153 m2/g; ΔD50/Dst is 0.75-0.88; and the oil absorption amount is 120 mL/100 g or greater but less than 143 mL/100 g; the difference between the compressed oil absorption amount and the oil absorption amount is 11 mL/100 g or greater but less than 33 mL/100 g; and the hydrogen generation amount is 2,300 mass ppm or greater but less than 3,500 mass ppm.
