Abstract:
Provided as a rubber composition with which it is possible to improve both the on-ice performance and the wear resistance of a tire is a rubber composition characterized in that: the storage elastic modulus (E') at -20°C is at least 5 MPa but at most 10 MPa; the storage elastic modulus (E') at -20°C and the loss tangent (tanδ) at -20°C satisfy the relationship of formula (1): 0.02×(E'-20°C)+0.25≤(tanδ-20°C)≤0.65 [in the formula, (E'-20°C) is the storage elastic modulus (MPa) at -20°C, and (tanδ-20°C) is the loss tangent at -20°C]; the rubber composition contains silica, a resin, and at least one type of diene polymer; and the mass ratio (silica content/resin content) of the silica content (parts by mass) and the resin content (parts by mass) is 1.00-4.00.
