Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition that is for tires and that is capable of achieving, at a high-level, a balance between low fuel consumption performance and wet-grip performance of a tire. The rubber composition for tires according to the present invention contains rubber components, a resin component, and a filler, and is characterized in that the rubber components include a diene-based rubber component A containing an isoprene backbone rubber and having a glass transition temperature of -50°C or less and include a diene-based rubber component B containing a butadiene backbone rubber and being uncompatible with the diene-based rubber component A, the total contained amount of styrene in the diene-based rubber component B is 15 mass% or less, the resin component has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 200-1600 g/mol, the contained amount of the resin component is 1-45 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber components, and 0°C tanδ/50°C tanδ of the composition is 2.7 or more.
