The rubber magnet according to the present disclosure comprises a hexagonal ferrite particle group which is a collection of a plurality of hexagonal ferrite particles and a holding material which holds the hexagonal ferrite particle group, the rubber magnet being formed by mixing the hexagonal ferrite particle group and the holding material with each other. In a case in which portions including surfaces of the rubber magnet are defined as surface portions when this rubber magnet is divided into three portions in the thickness direction, and when the rubber magnet is divided into the three portions in the thickness direction, a portion between the surface portions is defined as a center portion and the surface portion which is included in the surface portions and includes a surface on a magnetized side is defined as a magnetized-side surface portion, then the degree of c-plane orientation of the hexagonal ferrite particle group existing in the magnetized-side surface portion is higher than the degree of c-plane orientation of the hexagonal ferrite particle group existing in the center portion.
