Abstract:
A saddle-ride type vehicle (1) is provided with an engine (20), an exhaust gas path part (51), a catalyst (53), oxygen sensors (76, 77), and an oxygen sensor abnormality determination device (85). The oxygen sensor abnormality determination device (85) determines that the oxygen sensors (76, 77) are abnormal if output values obtained from measurement values concerning responsiveness of the oxygen sensors (76, 77) are not less than the respective threshold values. The measurement values, the output values, and the threshold values satisfy: a first condition where, when a threshold value a1 of an engine load or an engine rotation speed X1 is equal to an threshold value a2 of the engine load or an engine rotation speed X2, an output value b1 of X1 is equal to an output value b2 of X2 and a measurement value c1 of X1 is less than or greater than a measurement value c2 of X2; a second condition where, when the threshold value a1 is less than the threshold value a2, the output value b1 is less than the output value b2 and the measurement value c1 is less than the measurement value c2; or a third condition where, when the threshold value a1 is greater than the threshold value a2, the output value b1 is greater than the output value b2 and the measurement value c1 is greater than the measurement value c2.
