A safety helmet having audio input and output functions comprises a receiving and sending control module, a loudspeaker (2) in an audio output connection with the receiving and sending control module, and a microphone (6) in an audio input connection with the receiving and sending control module. When the safety helmet works, communication is established between the safety helmet and a mobile terminal by means of the receiving and sending control module, and an audio signal when the mobile terminal plays music is output to the loudspeaker to be output by means of the receiving and sending control module; in this way, it can be ensured that a rider can hear the music, and can receive external warning sound as well, and the safety helmet does not discomfort the ears even when used for a long time. When the rider answers a call, the array microphone (6) sends sound to the mobile terminal by means of the receiving and sending control module, and then the mobile terminal sends the sound to another mobile terminal to implement voice communication. The safety helmet of the structure can avoid potential safety hazards caused by using earphones in the riding process and can avoid discomfort, caused by wearing the earphones for a long time, to the user, and can be conveniently and safely used by the rider.
