Abstract:
Provided is a sample sampling material for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry which uses a stamp to sample samples, wherein contaminant-derived peaks in mass spectra obtained by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry measurements are reduced, and accurate qualitative analysis can be performed. This sample sampling material for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry uses a stamp to sample samples for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and includes a base material and a fibrous columnar structure. The fibrous columnar structure is provided with a plurality of fibrous columnar objects. The fibrous columnar objects are oriented in a direction substantially orthogonal to the base material.
