Abstract:
A sash mounting structure for a vehicle door is provided with, at the lower end of a side sash inserted and supported in a door panel and the upper end of a lower sash, a positioning means for determining the position of the lower sash with respect to the side sash by mutual contact, and is provided with, between the lower sash and the door panel, a securing means for securing the lower sash to the door panel with a predetermined degree of freedom of a securing position in the top-bottom direction, and the lower sash is secured to the door panel while being positioned by the positioning means. Consequently, both the ease of the positioning of the lower sash and the accommodation of variations in accuracy are achieved, thereby enabling improvement in the workability of mounting of the lower sash to the door panel.
