Abstract:
A scale removal device 1 according to the present invention includes: circulation piping 2 that transports coolant stored in a cooling tower CT and returns the coolant to the cooling tower; a pump 3 disposed in the path of the circulation piping; a water quality activator 4; and an electrostatic rectifier 5. In addition, a scale removal system which is another aspect of the present invention includes a cooling tower in which a coolant is stored, in-facility piping P which is connected to the cooling tower and circulates the coolant within a facility, and a scale removal device provided to the cooling tower, and said scale removal device includes circulation piping that transports coolant stored in the cooling tower and returns the coolant to the cooling tower, a pump disposed in the path of the circulation piping, a water quality activator, and an electrostatic rectifier.
