Abstract:

This screen printer 10 uses one of a first and second squeegee 71, 72 to screen print a cream solder 13 placed on the upper surface of a screen 12 onto a substrate S. The screen printer 10 is provided with: screen frame holding rails that hold a screen frame 12a for the screen 12; a pair of substrate holding members 36, 38 that hold the substrate S; a raising and lowering table 16 that raises and lowers the substrate holding members 36, 38; and a pair of screen supporting members 50, 52 that support, from below the screen 12, the periphery of a printing area of the screen 12 to be used during screen printing. The screen supporting members 50, 52 are provided independently from the raising and lowering table 16. As a result, the load on the raising and lowering table 16 is reduced. Also, the design freedom is increased, for example with respect to members to be mounted on the raising and lowering table 16.
