Abstract:
Provided are a screen printing device and a screen printing method wherein a film is made thicker and a circuit pattern having a cross sectional shape with a large aspect ratio is formed, so as to increase conversion efficiency. In order to form a belt-like circuit pattern on a surface of a base material (11), a screen printing device (10) and a screen printing method are provided with a support table (12) for supporting the base material (11), a covering portion which covers a part of the surface of the base material (11), a plurality of openings from which a part of the base material (11) is exposed, a metal mask (1) comprising a bridge portion provided between the openings in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the circuit pattern, and a cartridge-type squeegee head (13) which supplies paste for a circuit pattern onto a surface of the metal mask (1) at a predetermined pressure while slide contacting a squeegee (14) having a predetermined length on the upper surface of the metal mask (1).
