Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing a scroll-type fluid machine and a method for manufacturing the same that suppress product manufacturing costs without the risk of burn-in or the like between a pair of scroll bodies, even if the scroll-type fluid machine having the pair of scroll bodies therein is operated for a long period of time and at a high speed, while maintaining lubrication properties on sliding surfaces in a poor lubrication environment. [Solution] In order to solve this problem, the scroll-type fluid machine and the method for manufacturing the same according to the present invention can compress or expand a fluid in a space formed between a pair of scroll bodies capable of rotating relative to each other, wherein the scroll bodies have a bottom plate and a spiral wrap protruding from the surface of the bottom plate, the scroll bodies are designed such that the wrap height of one scroll body is lower than the wrap height of the other scroll body, and the scroll bodies include a resin coating of a prescribed film thickness containing a lubricating agent on the surface of the scroll body having the lower wrap height.
