Abstract:

Provided is a seat frame comprising a resin material and able to maintain high rigidity. The present invention relates to a resin seat frame (F) that configures the framework of a vehicle seat (S) on which an occupant sits, and that is formed to have a closed hollow cross-sectional shape. A resin material that configures at least part of the seat frame (F) contains at least a unidirectional material (M2) which is a carbon fiber resin exhibiting a fiber direction alignment where the fibers run in one direction, and the direction in which the fibers of the unidirectional material (M2) run is the direction in which tension is imparted.
