Abstract:
Provided is a seat frame comprising a resin material and able to maintain high rigidity. The present invention relates to a resin seat frame (F) that configures the framework of a vehicle seat (S) on which an occupant sits, and that is formed to have a closed hollow crossed-sectional shape. A material configuring at least one part of the seat frame (F) is a laminate resin material (M) in which a plurality of resin materials are laminated, and a resin material that constitutes a layer of the laminate resin material is a carbon fiber resin. The resin material includes a unidirectional material (M2), in which the carbon fibers are aligned so as run in one direction, and a crossed material (M1) in which the carbon fibers are knitted in a lattice shape. In the laminate resin material (M), either the crossed material (M1) or the unidirectional material (M2) form the laminate center, and a plurality of crossed materials (M1) or a plurality of unidirectional materials (M2) are positioned so as to exhibit fiber orientation symmetry with respect to the laminate center and form layers that pinch the laminate center.
