Abstract:
The present invention reduces rattling and noise between an upper rail and a lower rail, and achieves smoother sliding. Sliding resistance reduction members (14, 15) comprise retainers (141, 151), formed with L-shaped cross-sections, that comprise first retaining wall sections (1411, 1511) and second retaining wall sections (1412, 1512) located between vertical wall sections (11b, 11d) and base wall sections (11a, 12c) of a lower rail (11) and an upper rail (12). First ball members (142, 152) are respectively disposed at positions in the middle of the first retaining wall sections (1411, 1511), and second ball members (143, 153) are respectively disposed in the second retaining wall sections (1412, 1512) at positions separated toward the lateral center from the vertical wall sections of the lower rail (11).
