Disclosed is a seat system that comprises a seat body which is long in a left-right direction, and that prevents a seating location of a user from being extremely limited, and prevents execution of an application from being infeasible due to a failure of a control unit to acquire information from a sensor. A seat system (1) comprises: a seat body (11) which is long in the left-right direction; a plurality of sensors (pressure sensors P) that are mounted on the seat body (11), acquire information for identifying a physical condition of a user sitting on the seat body (11), and are located at different positions in the left-right direction; and a control unit (20) that executes an application program on the basis of the information from the sensors. The control unit (20) sets, on the basis of outputs from the plurality of sensors, some sensor, which has a stronger response than other sensors among the plurality of sensors located at different positions in the left-right direction, as an application sensor for use in the application program.
