Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to appropriately recover the capacity of a secondary battery. To this end, a secondary battery (510) having a plurality of battery cells (10) is provided with a secondary battery control device (500) comprising: an operation mode selection unit (420) that selects either a first operation mode (Mn) or a second operation mode (Mr) as an operation mode; a first discharge control unit (410) that, when the operation mode selection unit has selected the first operation mode (Mn), stops the discharge of the secondary battery when the terminal voltage of any one of the plurality of battery cells is less than a first voltage; and a second discharge control unit (412) that, when the operation mode selection unit has selected the second operation mode (Mr), applies a discharge current to the secondary battery so that the terminal voltage of a battery cell satisfying a predetermined deterioration condition among the plurality of battery cells is less than the first voltage (Vlow ) and the terminal voltage of the other battery cells is equal to or higher than the first voltage (Vlow ).
