Abstract:
The disclosed invention relates to a prismatic secondary battery comprising: a case which has a hexahedral shape and is made of a metal material; and at least one electrode assembly which is inserted through an open surface formed at the top surface of the case and accommodated in the case. In an example, a concave surface is formed at at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the case, the electrode assembly is supported in contact with the concave surface, and the electrode assembly has a wedge-shaped insertion end.
