Abstract:
The disclosed invention relates to a secondary battery having a cathode terminal and an anode terminal separately arranged on the upper surface of a battery case having a hexahedral shape and, in one embodiment, comprises: a W-shaped terminal structure having a terminal body coupled to the upper surface of the battery case and one or more surfaces connected to the upper surface while encompassing the cathode terminal or the anode terminal such that same are not exposed, and an extension terminal electrically connected to the cathode terminal or the anode terminal so as to be exposed to any one surface of the terminal body, excluding the upper surface, and having a fastening member on the extension terminal; and a T-shaped terminal structure having a terminal body coupled to the upper surface of the battery case and one or more surfaces connected to the upper surface while encompassing the cathode terminal or the anode terminal such that same are not exposed, and an extension terminal electrically connected to the cathode terminal or the anode terminal so as to be exposed to any one surface of the terminal body, excluding the upper surface, and having a connection terminal on the extension terminal and orienting in the thickness direction of the secondary battery.
