Abstract:
Provided is a secondary battery that, according to one embodiment, comprises an electrode assembly containing a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, the secondary battery having an electrolyte sealed in an exterior body. The secondary battery has a spacer positioned between the electrode assembly and the exterior body. The electrode assembly has a positive electrode current collector tab and a negative electrode current collector tab, which are protruding from the electrode assembly. The spacer has, on the outer edge thereof in a plan view, a first recess for the positive electrode current collector tab and a second recess for the negative electrode current collector tab, and the first recess and the second recess are provided with a partition part interposed therebetween.
