Title:
SECONDARY CELL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/159773
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A secondary cell (30) comprises: a solid electrolyte layer (18) having water (H2O) and/or a hydroxyl group (-OH); a positive-electrode active material layer (22) disposed on the top surface of the solid electrolyte layer and including nickel hydroxide as a positive-electrode active material; a second electrode (positive electrode) (26) disposed on the top surface of the positive-electrode active material layer; a negative-electrode active material layer (16) disposed on the bottom layer of the solid electrolyte layer facing the positive-electrode active material layer and including as a negative-electrode active material a titanium oxide compound (TiOx) having water (H2O) and/or a hydroxyl group (-OH); a first electrode (negative electrode) (12) disposed on the bottom surface of the negative-electrode active material layer facing the second electrode (positive electrode) (26); a p-type semiconductor layer (24) disposed between the positive-electrode active material layer and the second electrode (positive electrode); and an n-type semiconductor layer (14) disposed between the negative-electrode active material layer and the first electrode (negative electrode). A secondary cell is provided in which energy density is increased.
