Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for selecting a subject to whom resveratrol originating in melinjo is to be administered for promoting multimerization of adiponectin, said method comprising a step wherein a subject person is selected as the subject to whom resveratrol melinjo is to be administered in the case where s/he shows: (1) genotype G/T or genotype T/T in DsbA-L rs1917760 (-1308G/T); and/or (2) a DsbA-LmRNA expression amount in peripheral blood monocytes at a preset level or lower.
