Abstract:
Provided are a selective separation method of semiconducting carbon nanotubes and a separating reagent therefor. The method comprises: uniformly mixing a single-walled carbon nanotube sample, a first polymer and a second polymer in a solvent to form a liquid phase mixing system, fully dispersing the single-walled carbon nanotube sample in the liquid phase mixing system; centrifuging the liquid phase mixing system and separating the supernatant to achieve a selective separation of the semiconductor single-walled carbon nanotube, wherein both the first polymer and the second polymer are capable of specifically binding to the semiconductor single-walled carbon nanotube, and the first polymer has a bonding speed with the semiconductor single-walled carbon nanotube greater than that of the second polymer with the semiconductor single-walled carbon nanotube, and a bonding strength smaller than that of the second polymer with the semiconductor single-walled carbon nanotube. The separating agent comprises the first polymer and the second polymer. The method can realize selective separation of semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes with reduced cost and improved repeatability and stability of the separation.
