Abstract:
An actual bridge weld scanner and a scanning method therefor, the scanner comprising a walking part and a scanning part which are mounted on a scanner chassis (1); laser range finders (9) are disposed on a head end and a tail end of the scanner chassis (1), and a magnet (11) is disposed at the bottom of the scanner chassis (1); the scanning part comprises a probe slider (2), a bendable metal pipe (4) and a probe which are connected in order; a gear (3a) is disposed on the probe slider (2), and the gear (3a) is engaged with a rack (7) inside a scanner chassis chute (8). The method is used to scan while the walking part moves forward along a weld. When a magnetic field change is detected, a suspected defect location is scanned more carefully. The scanner can be used to accurately detect and locate defects of steel box girder welds, photograph macroscopic phenomena of the defects in a real time manner, and determine the coordinates of the position the scanner, thereby improving the efficiency and quality of actual bridge weld detection, and effectively reducing detection costs.
