Abstract:
The present application provides a self-adaptive reversible data hiding method and system for a color image. The method comprises: dividing channel images to obtain a white data set and a grayscale data set; respectively performing information embedding on each pixel point in the white data set and the grayscale data set according to a directional closed prediction method and a three-dimensional prediction error histogram extension method to obtain a secret-containing information white data set and a secret-containing information grayscale data set, the information embedding mode comprising a self-adaptive embedding mode and a fixed embedding mode, and selecting the self-adaptive embedding mode or the fixed embedding mode according to content of an original color image; and extracting the secret-containing information white data set and the secret-containing information grayscale data set, and recovering the original color image in a lossless way. On the basis of the correlation among three channels, a self-adaptive embedding method based on image content is provided, which can effectively reduce image distortion. In order to reduce the calculation complexity, the present application provides an information embedding method based on a combination of the self-adaptive embedding mode and the fixed embedding mode.
