Abstract:
A self-cleaning method and apparatus for an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, and a computer-readable storage medium and an air conditioner, which relate to the technical field of air conditioners and aim to solve the problem of high energy consumption of existing methods for controlling a self-cleaning function of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner. The self-cleaning method for an outdoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: when an air conditioner is in a standby state, acquiring the time interval between the current date and the most recent historical self-cleaning date, and acquiring the current outdoor ambient parameter; at least determining whether the current ambient parameter meets a preset ambient parameter condition, and comparing the time interval with a preset time threshold value; and according to a determination result and a comparison result, controlling the air conditioner to enable a self-cleaning function. At least the current ambient parameter and the time interval with respect to the most recent historical self-cleaning date are combined, such that the enabling of a self-cleaning function at random and under a non-suitable environmental condition can be avoided, thereby facilitating the reduction in energy consumption.
