The present application discloses a self-priming jet pump, which comprises a pump body having a water inlet and a water outlet, the pump body having arranged therein a jet pipe and an impeller; the jet pipe is communicated with the water inlet and with a pressurized water chamber inlet, the outer periphery of the jet pipe is provided with one first channel or at least two second channels, the first channel or second channels being communicated with the water inlet and the impeller; the cross section of the first channel has a closed or open annular structure, and the first channel winds around the periphery of the jet pipe; and the at least two second channels are arranged around the periphery of the jet pipe; the first channel and second channels are provided with a valve core, and when the pressure at the water inlet is greater than a preset pressure value at the impeller, the valve core moves to open the first channel or the second channels. Providing a flow increasing channel relieves the problem of cavitation, the production process is simple, and the production cost is low.
