Title:
SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/165799
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a semiconductor device of reduced power consumption that is capable of multiplication-accumulation operations. The semiconductor device comprises first and second circuits, the second circuit comprising first and second switches, a current-to-voltage converter circuit, and a first transistor. The first circuit is electrically connected to a first terminal of the second circuit. A first terminal of the first switch is electrically connected to the first terminal of the second circuit. A second terminal of the first switch is electrically connected to an input terminal of the current-to-voltage converter circuit. An output terminal of the current-to-voltage converter circuit is electrically connected to a first terminal of the first transistor. A second terminal of a first transistor is electrically connected to a first terminal of the second switch. A second terminal of a second transistor is electrically connected to a second terminal of the second circuit. The first circuit comprises a function for holding a plurality of items of first data, and a function for sending, to the first terminal of the second circuit, an amount of current corresponding to the sum of the products of the plurality of items of first data and plurality of items of second data when the plurality of items of second data are inputted to the first circuit.
