Abstract:

A service container creation method and device, the method comprising: a virtualization layer in a network function virtualization infrastructure (NFVI) receives, from a virtualized infrastructure manager (VIM), a container creation message of a first container deployment message for a target service; the virtualization layer creates a service container in the NFVI according to the container creation message and deploys the target service in the service container; the virtualization layer creates a binding relationship between the service container and one or more central processing units (CPU) in the NFVI according to the timer type in the container creation message. By means of the method, the performance impact caused by a high-precision timer in an NFV system can be isolated within the range of a single service container, such that the NFV system gives consideration to the performance of service containers while ensuring service deployment flexibility.
