A servo electric cylinder having a pneumatic piston, the servo electric cylinder comprising a servo electric motor (1) and a cylinder body (2), wherein the inside of the cylinder body is provided with a ball screw and a main piston rod (3) that is driven by the ball screw to reciprocate; the ball screw is in driving connection with the servo electric motor; the ball screw comprises a screw main body (4) and a screw nut (5); the main piston rod has one end fixed to the screw nut by means of a nut seat (6), the end of the main piston rod close to the nut seat is provided with an avoidance cavity in which the corresponding end of the screw main body is slidably arranged, and the end of the main piston rod away from the nut seat is connected to a rivet rod (7); and the end of the cylinder body away from the servo electric motor is connected to a transition cylinder (8) that is internally provided with a slidably arranged pressing piston rod (9) in which the end of the main piston rod is slidably arranged. The servo electric cylinder has a stable structure, and a riveted part can be completely fixed before riveting, thereby improving the riveting stability and precision.
